SAT/ACT Preparation and Leadership Programming

The Future Leaders Program is a college and career exploration program hosted by the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in collaboration with the YMCA, The Image Initiative, Inc.® and Say Yes to Education.

Students will meet on Saturday, once a month to participate in a comprehensive curriculum of college preparation, Common App, essay writing, professional development, leadership skill building and career exploration.

There is no fee to attend this transformative program.

The Program’s goal is to connect participants with successful Whitman students to create meaningful mentor relationships. As well as to:

  • Increase mentor relationships. As well as the representation of students of color in the management discipline
  • Helping students develop key leadership skills and identify career goals—college, trades, entrepreneurship

Requirements:

  • Reside in the City of Syracuse
  • Grades 9-12
  • From a historically underrepresented background

Session Times: SAT/ACT 10:00a.m. – 11:30a.m
General 11:30 a.m. – 2:30p.m.
