Neil Goldberg is President/CEO Raymour & Flanigan Furniture & Holdings. He graduated from Syracuse University School of Management in 1975 with a B.S. in Accounting.

Neil joined then Raymour’s Furniture in 1972 and lead company from 3 local furniture stores to:

  • Largest furniture retailer in the Northeast
  • One of the top 5 largest furniture retailers in the U.S.
  • 100 stores across 7 states (New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Rhode Island)
  • More than 4,400 associates company-wide

Most recently, Neil has worked on the following local boards and fund raising campaigns:

  • Chairman, HSBC Bank Regional Board
  • Director, Metropolitan Development Association
  • Director, Syracuse University School of Management
  • Salvation Army of Central New York
  • United Way of CNY Campaign
  • Junior Achievement of Central New York

Most recently, he has served on the following national boards:

  • National Home Furnishings Association
  • Home Furnishings Council
  • American Furniture Hall of Fame
  • National Commission Anti-Defamation League
  • Furniture Fan.com

Most recently, Neil has been awarded:

  • City of Hope Spirit of Life award
  • American Heritage Award ADL
  • Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Syracuse Business Journal “Business of the Year”

 

Our Team

George A. Weiss is the chairman of Say Yes To Education, Inc., a national non-profit foundation committed to opening access to post-secondary education for high poverty youth.

Jane Toll worked for many years as a teacher and then as a custom home builder. She funded, ran and lived a program to support 60 inner city kids from third grade through college.

Sol H. Pelavin was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Institutes for Research.

Deborah Miller is an entrepreneur and investor in early stage venture capital companies.
