The Syracuse University Summer Internship Program is a partnership between Syracuse University and Syracuse City School District that provides opportunities for rising seniors to practice and gain hands-on work experience in their chosen learning pathway by participating in a paid six-week internship on Syracuse University’s campus. Listed below are some examples of the placement opportunities for students:

Details:
- 6-Week Program running July-August
- Monday — Thursday; 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Paid opportunities aligned with learning pathways
- Placements will be at various locations on the SU Campus
- Upon completion, students will receive a professional reference from their supervisor and a certificate of recognition from Syracuse University
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a rising senior (current 11th grader), or a graduating senior in the Syracuse City School District (SCSD), and meet Say Yes eligibility requirements (3 years in SCSD – resident of the city of Syracuse).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must be selected for placement by SCSD Say Yes program representatives.
- Must complete all necessary intake paperwork and pre-orientation process with CNY Works.
- Must complete orientation with SCSD prior to program start date.
