Say Yes Syracuse works to ensure that every Say Yes Syracuse student reaches their academic potential by eliminating predictable barriers to academic achievement. See below to learn about the positive outcomes of our efforts.
Since 2009, 6,550 Say Yes Syracuse scholars have enrolled in 2-and 4-year colleges and universities after high school graduation.
A total of $15.7 million Say Yes scholarship funds have been distributed to put towards the cost of students’ higher education.
36% of the overall SCSD Class of 2024 continued on to their second year of college, whereas 69% of Say Yes Scholars did.
40% of the SCSD Class of 2024 completed a Say Yes application.
The SCSD graduation rate increased by 62% over the past 14 years from 45% in 2010 to 73% in 2024.
