Award Minimum Changes Begin Fall 2022 (6/9/2022)

Beginning in the fall of 2022, all Say Yes Syracuse eligible students attending State University of New York (SUNY) and City University of New York (CUNY) colleges that have a tuition balance not covered by Federal Pell grants and/or NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) grants will be awarded a minimum of $1000 up to the full cost of tuition.

This means that every eligible student with a remaining tuition balance will receive a Say Yes to Education award that covers the full cost of tuition, regardless of the amount still due. If the balance owed is less than $1000, the minimum received will still be $1,000 per year ($500 per semester Fall/Spring).
