Say Yes Legal Clinics operate during the academic school year to assist families with children in the Syracuse School District with legal issues that may interfere with their child’s ability to succeed in school.

Say Yes is committed to connecting families with children in the Syracuse School District with assistance to address legal issues that may interfere with their child’s ability to succeed in school. We team up with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County to get families the legal advice and assistance needed from pro bono attorneys, or to connect the families to other agencies that can help.

The clinics provide advice on non-criminal legal issues such as but not limited to:legal-advice

  • Child Support
  • Child Custody
  • Guardianship
  • Landlord/Housing
  • Public Benefits (social security, food stamps, etc.)
  • Bankruptcy & Debt
  • Immigration
  • Divorce
  • Parental Rights & Liability
  • Foster Care
  • Domestic Violence
